About us<\/h1><\/div>

Bussetti – <\/strong>the company with an Italian name and a passion for chemistry – celebrates its 90th<\/sup> anniversary in 2020. Bussetti is a traditional Austrian SME with 80 employees<\/strong>, and remains a family-run company<\/strong> to this day. Its head office is based in Vienna\u2019s 17th district, Hernals. This is where we determine the course for the company\u2019s future<\/strong>. It is here, too, where we undertake research<\/strong>, coordinate closely with our customers, <\/strong>and manage the company.<\/p>\n

The factory in Marchtrenk, in the Hausruck region, was established in 1952. In addition to the former production hall<\/strong>, new production and warehousing facilities <\/strong>are being constantly added, not only to meet current demand, but also to prepare for the future. Our vision is anything but local: around 1,000 customers <\/strong>from 90 countries<\/strong> operating in seven industrial sectors<\/strong> demonstrate the extreme breadth of our operations. Our clear focus on the customer, our passion for research and development<\/strong>, and the potential we offer our employees to grow, have all shaped the way we work and the success we have enjoyed for decades<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Bussetti is more than a supplier, it is also a partner to its customers<\/strong>. Together we work to create customized solutions to master specific challenges. Our product portfolio includes defoamers, release agents, cleaners, emulsifiers, fatting agents, and auxiliaries<\/strong>. We developed our first products for the leather industry. Today, Bussetti also serves the wide-ranging and diverse biotechnology <\/strong>sector, as well as the wood-based material industry, textile care, and pulp & paper industry<\/strong>, and provides solutions for architectural coatings & building<\/strong> material applications. Bussetti products support seamless manufacturing processes.<\/p>\n

Sustainability<\/strong> isn\u2019t a slogan at Bussetti, it is established practice. The company\u2019s production facilities are powered by renewable energy<\/strong>, drawn from its own hydroelectric power plant and photovoltaic installation<\/strong>. We avoid the use of petrochemicals as raw materials wherever possible. Many of Bussetti\u2019s key products are made from natural fats and oils.<\/strong>
